As your schedule changes, you may need to adjust your workout days. Whether that means moving a session, adding an extra day, or taking a rest when needed. The Built With Science+ app makes it easy to customize your weekly schedule while keeping your program on track.

Why make changes to your workout week?
Your weekly workout plan should fit your real life. This feature is useful when you want to:
Shift workout days around to match your changing schedule
Add a workout to make up for a missed session
Remove a workout day to take a rest day instead
How to make changes to your workout week
Go to your Workout tab.
By default, you can press and drag any workout day to move it to another day of the week.
You can also start a workout directly from this tab.
For more control, tap the three dots next to This Week’s Schedule and select Customize Program to access advanced options.
Managing Workout Days
You can delete, swap, or add workout days directly from your workout week. All of these options are accessed from the three dots (⋯) next to a workout day or rest day.
Delete Workout Days
Tap the three vertical dots next to an existing workout day.
Select Delete Workout.

You’ll be asked to confirm whether you want to:
Delete permanently, or
Save the workout day to your Workout Library for future use.
If saved, the workout day will be removed from your schedule but stored in your Workout Library, where it can be re-added at any time.
Swap Workout Days
Tap the three vertical dots next to an existing workout day.
Select Swap Workout.

You’ll first be asked whether you want to:
Remove the current workout permanently, or
Save it to your Workout Library for later use.

After confirming, you’ll see a list of:
Workout days from your existing programs in your Program Library, and
Any workout days you’ve previously saved to your Workout Library.
You can only select one individual workout day. Once selected, it will replace the original workout day in that slot.
Add Workout Days
Tap Add Workout on a rest day.
This will open the same workout day list used for swapping.
Choose a single workout day to insert it into that rest day slot.
Important Note About Future Weeks
Any changes made at the program week level (adding, deleting, or swapping workout days) will automatically apply to all future weeks in your program, until another change is made.
Renaming Workout Days
Through the Customize Program function, you can also rename your workout days if you’d prefer something different from the default names we’ve assigned. This allows you to personalize your schedule even further and make it better reflect your training focus or preferences.
