The Built With Science+ app automatically designs a workout program for you based on your current goals, experience level, and available equipment. However, as your goals, schedule, or gym setup change - or if you're just ready to to mix things up, you can easily create a new, personalized program at any time.
Creating a Custom Workout Program
Tap your profile icon in the top right corner.
Select My Programs.
Press Get a New Program.
You’ll then be guided through a short survey where you’ll:
Set your weekly availability and preferred number of training days
Choose your average workout duration
Pick the muscle groups you want to prioritize
Once you complete this setup, the app will recommend a selection of programs tailored to your inputs.
Selecting and Reviewing Your Program
After choosing your preferred program:
Indicate the equipment you have access to.
Preview the exercises for each day of the program.
Once satisfied, select either:
Start This Program – to apply it to your current week, or
Save to Library – to keep it for future use.
Managing Multiple Programs
Having multiple workouts saved in your Workout Library gives you flexibility to switch routines whenever your schedule or goals change.
We recommend only switching programs at the start of a new week. Changing midweek will reset your logged progress for the current week.
