If you didn’t enable step tracking during the initial questionnaire, you can still turn it on at any time through your profile settings.
How to set it up
1. Open your Profile settings
Go to your Profile tab in the app and scroll to find the toggle labelled “Track steps using Apple Health” or “Track steps using Health Connect” depending on your device.
For iPhone users (Apple Health)
After turning the toggle on, your phone will ask you to grant permissions for Apple Health.
Once you allow access, you’re all set. You may check your Integrations to be sure, and your steps will sync automatically into the app from this point forward.
For Android users (Health Connect)
Android requires one extra step.
Turn on the “Track steps using Health Connect” toggle in your profile.
Then open Health Connect on your device.
Under Permissions, make sure the app and the device or widget you use to track steps all have permission to share step data. In the below examples, steps are being tracked through the Samsung Health app.
Once permissions are enabled, your step count will begin syncing automatically.
