If you’re having trouble syncing your steps automatically through Apple Health or Health Connect, you can still stay on track by logging your steps manually in the app.
Adjusting your minimum daily step target allows you to better reflect your current activity level and ensure your progress is tracked accurately, whether your steps are syncing automatically or being entered manually.
Below, we’ll walk you through exactly how to update your minimum daily step target and log your steps directly in the app.
From your Dashboard tab, you’ll want to click on the upper right hand corner to locate your profile settings.
Scroll down until you see “Daily Steps Target.”
Tap it to change your step target to what you like and then tap “Update.”
You’ll then see your updated value reflected on your dashboard as a Bonus Goal.
