A superset is a training method where you perform two exercises back-to-back with little or no rest between them. This approach increases training density, saves time, and helps maintain intensity throughout your workout.
Why Supersets Appear in Your Program
Supersets are most commonly found in 30-minute workout durations but can appear in a standard 60-minute workout durations as well.
Because these shorter plans are designed to be efficient, the app may group certain movements together as supersets to help condense the workout without reducing total training volume.
How Supersets Work in the App
When a workout includes a superset, you’ll see two exercises grouped together as a single block. These exercises are meant to be completed consecutively before taking your rest.
You can fully edit, add, or remove supersets depending on your preference.
Editing Supersets
To edit a superset exercise
Tap the three dots next to the superset block.
Choose Swap Exercise.
The app will recommend alternatives, or you can browse and select any exercise you prefer.
Adding Supersets
To add a new superset
Tap the three dots next to the exercise you want to pair.
Select Superset With.
A modal will open with suggested pairings, but you can fully customize the second exercise to anything you’d like.
Removing Supersets
To remove a superset
Tap the three dots next to the exercise you want to remove from the pairing.
Select Remove.
This will delete the exercise from the superset.
You can always re-add it later as a standalone exercise.
