The rest timer helps you recover between exercises so you can perform each set at your best. By default, your timer length depends on the type of exercise you’re doing — shorter for isolation movements and longer for compound lifts.
Default Rest Durations
Isolation exercises: ~30–60 seconds
Compound exercises: ~90 seconds–2 minutes
These default values are automatically set for each exercise, but you can adjust and save your preferred rest time for future workouts.
How to Change Your Rest Timer
During your active workout, scroll to the bottom of an exercise card.
Tap the rest timer.
Select a custom rest duration that suits you best.
Choose Save to apply this rest time to future workouts for that exercise.
Superset Rest Timers
If you’re doing a superset (two or more exercises performed back-to-back), you can set a different rest timer for the break between supersets.
💡 Since supersets are designed to keep your heart rate elevated and training time efficient, rest periods are typically shorter than for standalone exercises.
