The upload photo feature in the Built With Science+ app is designed to help you visually track your transformation over time, but using it is completely optional.
Your uploaded photos appear alongside your strength and weight progress charts in the Progress tab, giving you a more complete view of how your hard work is paying off from multiple perspectives.
Your Privacy Comes First
If you choose to upload progress photos, rest assured that they are:
100% private and for your eyes only.
Not used by Built With Science for any analysis, including body fat estimation or progress scoring.
Never shared or used in marketing materials, your photos remain fully confidential and accessible only to you through your account.
Why the Feature Exists
This feature exists solely for your personal reflection and tracking. It helps you visually compare how your body changes alongside measurable progress in your workouts and weight trends.
If you prefer not to use it, that’s completely fine! It will have no other impact on your app experience or progress tracking.
