If you want to start completely fresh in the Built With Science+ app, there isn’t currently a way to reset your entire account or progress data without creating a brand-new account.
However, in most cases, you won’t need to start over. The app includes several ways to refresh your experience and realign it with your current fitness goals.
1. Update Your Fitness Goal
From your Profile Settings, tap Change Goal.
You’ll be guided through a condensed quiz that asks about your:
Current fitness level
Estimated body fat percentage
Main fitness goal
Based on your answers, the app will set you on one of three tracks:
Lose fat
Gain muscle
Maintain
Once selected, your nutritional targets will automatically adjust to align with your chosen goal.
2. Adjust Your Workout Program Level
To increase the complexity and volume of your workouts, you can progress through the program phases found in your Profile Settings:
Move from Beginner Phase 1 → Beginner Phase 2 → Intermediate
Each step introduces more volume, new exercises, and progressive overload to help you keep challenging yourself.

3. Customize Your Current Program
If your current nutrition and training level feel right but you still want something fresh, you can customize your existing program.
In your My Programs tab, you can:
Personalize your split days
Adjust muscle group focus
Swap or modify individual exercises
These changes help keep your training aligned with your evolving goals, without losing your existing progress data.
